When was the last time we saw 50 degrees in the Sauk Valley? A quick parsing of the records shows that all the way back in December was the last time we surpassed the 50 degree mark. After the bitter cold February we just experienced I’m sure many also feel it has been quite some time since we have been able to throw that temperature reading around!
The good news: several days upcoming in the extended forecast with readings close to if not surpassing 50 degrees. A change in the pattern will allow much warmer temperatures to migrate over the area this weekend bringing a much needed break from the bitter cold.
Saturday looks to be the best day so far for the upcoming weekend, with highs in the lower to middle 40s. Have a great weekend!
